Now, I have nothing against a person who appreciates culture. Hell, I love culture. It's what makes the world interesting.

But Otakus? Oh, they're in an entirely different ballpark.

There's appreciation, and then there's obsession. There's obsession, and then there's religion. Otakus sit in between obsession and religion; religiously obsessed.

They make little shrines for their figures, Mechas or naked Anime girls posing provocatively. They construct their lives for some paradise that doesn't exist. Anime is the Golden Calves of the 21st Century.

In a generation where religion is dead, these Golden Calves become entities.

If they don't be careful, Otakus will create God.
